Description

As of 15 April 2019, more than forty companies have been working on the site of the fire-damaged Notre-Dame cathedral.

Their dedication and know-how has ensured the success of the spectacular operations needed to secure and restore this historic monument.

This exhibition presents some of the most emblematic professionals working on this site through the photographs of Patrick Zachmann. This exhibition pays tribute to today’s master-builders and to all the artisans committed to safeguarding this key French cultural and historical site.

I became a photographer because I have no memory. Photography allows me to reconstruct the family albums I never had, the missing images becoming the engine of my research. My contact sheets are my personal diary
