Beat the winter blues by immersing yourself in a week of photographic discoveries, discussions, and personal challenges with Richard Kalvar in London.

During the five days, you will work individually and under the guidance of Richard Kalvar to create a personal photographic response to the city of London. You will participate in group review sessions and explore the power of editing to create a meaningful selection of work.

“My street photography is grounded in real people doing real things, and my observing them, reacting to them and trying to squeeze them into a rectangle.” — Richard Kalvar

Work with a master street photographer to develop the mindset needed to make images on the streets. Learn about framing and composition, how to navigate crowds and find a picture, all the while gaining invaluable insight into creating your own unique photographic voice.

“For me as a photographer, there is now a life before Richard Kalvar and one after. This whole week has been a cause for celebration because I have gotten so much better in such a short period of time.” — New York Workshop Participant, April 2023
