Description

Book your spot now for the very first street photography workshop led by Richard Kalvar in Amsterdam.

Working with a master street photographer, you will develop the mindset needed to photograph on the street: the importance of framing, composition, and focus – as well as the need for patience when pursuing fleeting moments

During the five-day workshop, you will work alongside Richard Kalvar to create a personal photographic response to the city. You will then participate in group review sessions and explore the power of editing to create a meaningful selection of work.

This workshop offers:

  • Practical advice on how to approach photographing on the street
  • Learn about framing and composition
  • Group review sessions
  • Editing session
  • A 50-page workbook on how to get started in photography

The workshop is open to photographers of all levels, from passionate amateurs to working professionals who want to further refine their skills in the art of street photography.

For me as a photographer, there is now a life before Richard Kalvar and one after. This whole week has been a cause for celebration because I have gotten so much better in such a short time.” — Feedback from a workshop participant of the Street Photography workshop with Richard Kalvar in New York.
