Magnum Photos and Fujifilm Korea are proud to present this 5-day workshop with Magnum photographer Moises Saman for the first time ever in Seoul, South Korea.

During the five-day workshop, you will work individually to create a personal photographic response to the city. You will then participate in group review sessions and explore the power of editing to create a meaningful selection of work. You will have the opportunity to spend time with Moises Saman and your peers on a daily basis, allowing you to ask for guidance and have your work reviewed throughout the workshop.

Due to the fast pace and limited time of the workshop, participants are encouraged to start thinking about their story ideas before arriving in Seoul.

“My aim is to create a safe space where we can discuss as equals our own doubts and fragilities that are inevitably embedded in our work. Together we will keep each other motivated to continue our creative paths to becoming more mature photographers and storytellers.” – Moises Saman

This workshop offers:

  • Create new work or continue a project under the guidance of Moises Saman
  • Group portfolio reviews including advice on work and professional development
  • Get a better understanding on how to find a personal vision and style
  • Lectures by Moises Saman
  • Evenings socialising with the group
  • Spend a week working in an iconic photography venue
