Magnum Learn Online: Portfolio Reviews
Are you about to embark on a personal photographic project and would like to review your ideas and approach with an expert? Do you have a long term project that you need help editing and sequencing? Are you a mid-career photographer struggling to figure out your photographic vision or where you are going next with your career?
This online portfolio review will help photographers identify their next step — from finding your photographic voice, to the process of discovering and making a long-term project that you’re passionate about, to practical advice on getting your work seen by the right people.
Each one-hour consultation is $350, which also includes a pre-review portfolio advice session with Magnum staff.

Magnum Photographers will select their favourite portfolio and this work will be showcased on the Magnum website
How does it work?
How you use the hour is up to you and based on your requirements. We will brief the photographer on this in advance so they are well prepared. You will be sent a Zoom link and directions on how to join. You will then be able to share your screen to show your work; the photographer will also be able to share their screen if they have any comments on your editing and sequencing.
Booking your review
To book, visit the individual reviewer pages by clicking on the reviewer portrait below. Each page details the individual preferences of the reviewers and a link to apply for a slot to see that photographer. Each Magnum photographer will see ten photographers only during this two-day event. Places will be allocated based on your application. Applications are free. The deadline for application for March reviews is 7 March, 2021. The deadline for application for April reviews is 4 April, 2021. The price of the portfolio review is $350 (incl. tax) to be paid on acceptance of the application.
