This exhibition tells the story of the making of the legendary film “The Misfits” (1961), directed by John Huston and starring Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable and Montgomery Clift. As part of the promotional strategy for the film, nine Magnum Photographers were given exclusive access to the production.
Set against the vast and untamed landscape of Nevada, these powerful and evocative photographs provide a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the raw emotions, intense performances, and captivating personalities of the film’s cast and crew.
